Alpo Aaltokoski Company is looking for a producer´s maternity leave replacement for period 9 January 2023 – 8 January 2024

Alpo Aaltokoski Company is a Helsinki-based contemporary dance group founded in 1995, whose works have been performed in more than 30 countries. Award-winning choreographer and dance artist Alpo Aaltokoski is the group’s artistic director. Company’s workspace is located at the Cable Factory in Helsinki. The financial supporters of the operation are Arts Promotion Centre Finland and City of Helsinki. 

Job description:

The producer is responsible for Alpo Aaltokoski Company’s administrative and production tasks and for the development of operations. The tasks include financial and personnel management, sales, marketing, and communication.

The producer works in cooperation with the artistic director. Work is done both independently and in a group.

The applicant is required

• a suitable university degree and/or practically acquired solid experience in production tasks in the field of culture.
• Knowledge of cultural funding channels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English. Other language skills are to your advantage
• Initiative and self-directedness

In addition, innovation, good social skills, flexibility, and pressure tolerance are advantageous in the work.

Employment:

The employment is temporary from 9 January 2023 to 8 January 2024. The position has a 4-month trial period. Paying is in accordance with the collective agreement of the Theater Industry.
